Do you allow photographers to use the space/property for portraits?
Yes! Photographers may reserve either a 2 hour time slot for $25 or a full day pass for $75. This includes use of the land and porches. It does not include the indoor space but can be arranged for certain circumstances (bridal portraits).
Is The Legacy ADA Accessible?
Yes! We have a concrete ramp that can be used to access The Legacy. Our restrooms are also ADA accessible.
Do you have on-site accommodations?
Yes! Learn more about The Farmhouse at MK Ranch. This can be rented out either for our brides or anyone looking for a secluded place to stay in Tahlequah.
Where are you located?
MK Ranch is located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, off of E. Ballentine Road, overlooking the Cherokee Springs Golf Course. Tours are only available by appointment.
Do you have space for outdoor wedding ceremonies?
Yes! The pond is a perfect backdrop for any wedding ceremony. Adjacent to the pond is a large group of trees which would be beautiful as well.
Are tables and chairs included in the rental?
Yes! We provide 250 white chiavari chairs (indoor use only), 8 - 8' tables, 2 - 6' tables, and 30 - 60" round tables.
How much is it to rent The Legacy?

What is your capacity for The Legacy?
With over 8,000 square feet we can accommodate up to 350 guests inside.
Do you have a sound system?
Yes! It is included in any rental and is perfect for background music. We do recommend that weddings still hire a DJ for the best sound quality for dancing.
Do you allow alcohol?
Yes! We require you to purchase host liability insurance. We require that alcohol is served by a licensed bartender.
May I hire any vendor I would like?
Yes! We have an open vendor policy.
Do I have to purchase insurance?
Yes, it is required. In order for us to offer an open vendor policy, we require a $1M policy. If you are serving alcohol, you must include host liability as part of your coverage.
If I am having my ceremony at The Legacy, can I have a ceremony rehearsal?
Absolutely! We allow each bride a 1 hour rehearsal that takes place on the Wednesday or Thursday before the wedding. Times are first come, first serve for any wedding that weekend. If we are not booked on the day before your wedding 6 weeks before, you may request to schedule your rehearsal for then (i.e. Friday night for a Saturday wedding).
Do you have parking on site?
Yes! We have a gravel parking lot that can accommodate up to 100 cars. We also have a circle drive right up to the entrance, which is perfect to offer valet service. Weddings over 250 guests or 100 cars will be required to hire a valet service.
